General Volunteers
Tech Literacy Consultant
Responsibilities
❖ Provide personalized tech support and guidance to older adults and seniors on using their devices effectively.
❖ Adapt to various problems and challenges faced by individuals, offering tailored solutions and troubleshooting assistance.
❖ Conduct one-on-one and or group training sessions to teach basic to advanced functions of technology devices.
❖ Assist in setting up and configuring devices, installing apps, and troubleshooting software issues.
❖ Communicate technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring participants feel comfortable asking questions.
Qualifications
❖ Proficiency in using technology devices such as tablets, smartphones, and laptops.
❖ Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to different learning styles and preferences.
❖ Great communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
❖ Patient, empathetic, and compassionate attitude towards older adults and seniors.
❖ Basic basic Japanese proficiency is required to assist participants who may prefer communication in their native language. You don't need to be fluent, but conversational enough to understand the student's needs.
Available Locations: Vancouver, Richmond, Coquitlam, Burnaby, Surrey

Creative Marketing Designer
Responsibilities
❖ Design visually appealing posters, flyers, and digital graphics to promote our Tech Literacy Support Program.
❖ Ensure all designs adhere to our organization's branding guidelines and effectively convey our message.
❖ Assist in the creation of content for social media platforms.
❖ Work closely with program coordinators to understand the objectives and target audience of each campaign.
❖ Provide timely updates on the progress of design projects and incorporate feedback as needed.
Qualifications
❖ Proficiency in graphic design software.
❖ Communication and collaboration abilities to effectively communicate with program coordinators.
Time commitment: 1-2hrs/wk
This is a remote position.
